Parameter Input Straight Bevel Gear

The input of the bevel gear parameters

The definition of the geometry of a straight bevel gear pair is entered step-by-step   using standardized gear parameters. The user-friendly interface guides you through the entire geometry definition up to the  input of flank modifications

The design of the bevel gear pair can be selected between three different cases:

1. Face, pitch and root apex are in one point

2. Only pitch and root apex are in one point

The distance to the crossing point can be edited on page Calculated data.

3. Face, pitch and root apex are not in one point.

The distance to the crossing point can be edited on page Calculated data.

Straight bevel gears according to Gleason and Klingelnberg can also be defined by the different designs.

With the adjustable tooth thickness it is possible to calculate certain toothing parameters and also a tooth flank clearance.
